celebrate recovery

Are you in real trouble? If you are addicted to the following:

  • Alcohol
  • Drugs
  • Tobacco
  • Food
  • Sex and Pornography
  • Worry
  • Resentment
  • Lying
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Abuse
  • Anger
  • Co-dependency
  • Perfectionism
  • Broken Relationships
  • Fear of Abandonment
  • Fear of Rejection
  • Low Self Esteem

If you want to recover and if your are willing to accept and act on suggestions from people who themselves have recovered? The outlook for you is good.

There is a way out!

Do not let anybody tell you that recovery from addiction is impossible, or unusual. Hundreds of thousands of addicts have recovered fully, beautifully and permanently. The people who clutter up the addictive scene and make it seem like a big deal are the addicts (all of us at one stage of the game) who do not really want to recover and who are still horsing around and mainly playing games. But when you reach the point of wanting to recover and become willing to do what recovered addicts tell you to do, the battle is more than half won.  This experience allows us to be changed. We open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths and hopes with one another and we begin to grow spiritually. Let the journey begin.

About

Celebrate Recovery is a life-changing recovery program that encourages fellowship and celebrates God’s healing power in our lives as we work our way along the road to recovery. Thereby, we are changed as we share our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another. We become willing to accept God’s grace and forgiveness in solving life’s problems. By working through the principles, we grow spiritually and are freed from our hurts, hang-ups and habits. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with others and our personal, loving and forgiving higher power, Jesus Christ.

Sometimes we need a helping hand, a shoulder to lean on or a listening ear. At Springfield Assembly of God, our Recovery Care Ministry helps people proactively grow and heal as individuals, couples and as families. We provide confidential and safe assistance for those trying times in life when you need someone to walk with you in your journey of faith and trust.

We live in difficult and uncertain times. Many people are hurting; hurting from losing their job, losing their house, or losing hope for their future. Many of those hurts have led to back choices, bad hang-ups and bad habits. Celebrate Recovery offers real answers, real hope and a real future, one healing choice at a time. We all need healing – from those who’ve hurt us, those we’ve hurt and the hurt we’ve caused ourselves. Your life will be changed in dramatic ways as you find true happiness by learning to overcome your hurts, hang-ups and habits through Celebrate Recovery’s healing and growth.

You’ve undoubtedly heard the expression “time heals all wounds.” Unfortunately, it isn’t true. Many people still carry hurts from thirty or forty years ago. The truth is, time often makes things worse. Then, wounds left untended fester and spread infection throughout your entire body. Time only extends the pain if you don’t deal with the problem. Celebrate Recovery is a place to get answers.
